The Doctor & companion

I was a bit intimidated by these at first, as Kev's more recent sculpts are a bit smaller and more detailed than the historical figures I am used to painting. But these turned out ok.

The Doctor is in - progress

Picked these up at the Eastern Front show last year, crooked dice miniatures.
My eyes and back are killing me from too much painting so time to chill out.

Copplestone - Power armour trooper

Picked these up at Salute last year, I wanted to try a white scheme again as my previous attempts have been poor. Reading the Eavy Metal paint guide I realised I need to do lots of thin washes to make white work. Its not quite as strong as I wanted, but having used thin washes I can now see how easy it is to get the blending of layers. Doesnt show up well in the photos, but something I will be experimenting more with in the future.

GZG Crusty Mech - painted finally

Took a while to assemble the shoulder launchers. Its quite a drab paint job, but this fits in with the movie influence, and probably I took the photo in bad lighting conditions. Not a great technical paint job, but it stands out quite strongly on the table top.

Took a while but I have finally completed these, well apart from the bases.

Some WIP

Last year at Salute a bought a box of 5 Soviet Armoured Guard from Westwind. I have finally figured out what I want to do with them. They come with seperate human heads, but thats not what I wanted - I felt its possible to do more with them.
So first a bit of miliput and plasticard.

Now the in progress paint jobs, I am trying to give a ceramic finish rather than camo.

I hope to get these completed soon.
